LEGAZPI CITY — Classes in all levels in public and private schools on Monday, September 2, in Naga City, Camarines Sur are suspended due to tropical storm “Enteng.”
In a statement on Sunday, Sept. 1, Mayor Nelson Legacion has instructed all school heads and village officials in Naga City to inform all students, parents and school staff about the suspension of classes.
The directive comes, after Enteng developed into a tropical storm while it was on the waters east of Eastern Visayas.
Legacion also directed school officials to ensure that learning materials and equipment were relocated for safety, especially in low-lying areas.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Camarines Sur will experience heavy to intense rains on Monday.
