MANILA, Philippines — Several flights were canceled on Wednesday due to unfavorable weather conditions at the area of destination, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said.
As of 2 p.m. on August 28, Miaa said the following flights would not push through:
CebGo (DG)
- DG 6113/6114 Manila-Naga-Manila
- DG 6043/6044 Manila-Busuanga-Manila
- DG 6117/6118 Manila-Naga-Manila
- DG 6047/6048 Manila-Busuanga-Manila
PAL Express (2P)
- 2P 2963/2964 Manila-Busuanga-Manila

In an early morning advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the southwest monsoon is expected to affect Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Visayas.
The rest of the country will have slightly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
