MANILA, Philippines — Several roads in Manila will be closed on September 8, 11, and 15, to give way for the upcoming 2024 Bar examinations, the Manila Public Information Office announced.
In a traffic advisory on Monday, the office said that the road closure and reroutes will affect the following areas around the University of Santo Tomas in Sampaloc:
September 8 and 11 (Sunday and Wednesday)
- Assisted traffic along two westbound lanes of España Boulevard, from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street, from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (for drop-off and pick-up purposes only).
- Road closure at Dapitan Street, from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street, from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m.
September 15 (Sunday)
- Assisted traffic along two westbound lanes of España Boulevard, from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street, from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m.
- Road closure of all westbound lanes of España Boulevard, from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Road closure at Dapitan Street, from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street, from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The office advised the public to take alternate routes during the road closure to avoid inconvenience.
