CFA bares new set of officers

THE BOARD MEMBERS of the Cebu Football Association (CFA) finally bared their new set of officers.

Sitting as the new president of the CFA is Pericles “Ricky” Dakay Sr. while Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu’s athletic director Enrico Navarro takes the role of the vice president.

Joey Herrera will serve as the general secretary while Michael Veloso is the treasurer.

The election of officers was done during the first official board meeting of the CFA. Aside from the election of officers, the rest of the board members were assigned to head the committees under the CFA.

Rodney Orale of ERCO FC, who garnered the most number of votes during the board election, will head the referees committee while Raffy Musni will spearhead the technical development/membership committee. To head the tournament committee is Glenn Quisido.

Assigned to the grounds committee was Fr. Heinz Kulueke of the University of San Carlos while Nimrod Quiñones heads the discipline/security committee.  Navarro will also handle the marketing/publicity committee while Veloso’s second role will also be to head the finance committee./CORRESPONDENT MARS G.
