Apollo Quiboloy

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Monday said the law must take its course as the police served the warrant of arrest on Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

“He is answerable to the law,” Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said in an ambush interview, referring to Quiboloy.

“The law must take its course,” Bersamin noted.

Around 2,000 members of the Philippine National Police raided the compound of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) Buhangin District, Davao City, over the weekend.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is believed to be hiding inside the KJC compound, according to Davao Police Regional Office director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III.

A P10-million reward will be given to anyone with information leading to the arrest of Quiboloy, according to Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr.

Quiboloy and five co-accused face child abuse cases before the Davao City court.

He also has a standing arrest warrant for human trafficking issued by a Pasig City court.
