LUCENA CITY — Two motorists died, and three others were injured, when a tricycle and motorcycle collided Monday in Nasugbu town in Batangas province.
A motorcycle with a sidecar driven by Miguel Maranan Jr. was hit and bumped by an oncoming motorcycle driven by Fernando Magpantay in Barangay Lumbangan around 3:40 a.m., the Region 4A police, citing a belated report from Nasugbu, said on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Magpantay and Nicolas Nano, one of the sidecar passengers, suffered fatal head injuries and died on the spot.
Maranan and his two other passengers, Felix Ehara and Kenneth Ehara, were also injured and taken to the Apacible Memorial District Hospital in the locality for treatment.
