MANILA, Philippines — Lawyer Michael Poa has been named as the new spokesperson of the Office of the Vice President (OVP), the office said Monday.
The OVP told reporters that Poa’s new assignment is “effective immediately.”
“Starting today, he will be the Spokesperson of the Office of the Vice President effective immediately,” the OVP said in a Viber message.
Poa assumed his new post upon resigning as the spokesperson of the Department of Education (DepEd), around the same time Vice President Sara Duterte stepped down from her role as education secretary.
