MANILA, Philippines — A 4.2 magnitude earthquake shocked the municipality of Sarangani in Davao Occidental on Saturday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcano and Seismology (Phivolcs).
According to the earthquake bulletin of Phivolcs, the epicenter of the 4.2 magnitude earthquake was located east of Sarangani Island in the municipality of Sarangani on Saturday, 10:08 p.m.

The temblor was tectonic in nature, with a depth of focus of 170 kilometers.
There are no expected damages and aftershocks after the said earthquake, said Phivolcs.
No intensities were recorded as of this writing.
