CEBU CITY — At least six armed persons on Thursday robbed two pawnshops in Barangay Ermita in this city.
Authorities said Macy’s Jewelry and D’ Gold Chain Jewelry Store lost around P10 million and P4 million, respectively.
Footage from a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera at one of the pawnshops showed the robbers pointing guns at the sales staff members and customers, forcing them to drop on the floor.
The suspects, who wore long-sleeved clothing, black masks, and helmets, got the jewelry from the display cases and immediately left the store on board three motorcycles.
