Manila Water is constructing the P360-Million Long-Term East 3 (LTE3) Cayetano Boulevard Line Pipelaying Project to improve the supply of potable water to over 750,000 Taguig residents.
The pipelaying project consists of 4-kilometer (km), 1200 millimeters (mm), 1000 millimeters (mm), 600 mm, and 500 mm diameter pipes to be laid along Cayetano Boulevard in Taguig City.
One of the four major components of the LTE-3 Water Supply Line, the pipeline will be used as a distribution system for Manila Water’s new water sources, namely the East Bay Water Supply System, the Wawa Water Supply System, and other long-term sources such as the Kaliwa Water Supply System.
The 4-km pipelaying activity will traverse Viejo Road, travel along C-5 Service Road, and end at Scorpion Street.
Manila Water, in coordination with the Local Government of Taguig, scheduled the working hours from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM to minimize disruptions to traffic and residents’ daily activities. The water company has also conducted project information campaigns in Barangay Palingon, Ligid-Tipas, and Calzada to inform residents of the construction activities and the benefits of the pipelaying project.
“The LTE 3 Water Supply Line is part of Manila Water’s investment to achieve long-term service reliability for our customers. We deeply appreciate the Taguig LGU and its residents for their efforts and cooperation in making this project possible,” Manila Water’s Corporate Communication Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla said.
Expected to be completed in July 2025, the LTE-3 Cayetano Blvd Line will not only ensure service reliability but also enhance water pressure for Taguig customers.
