LTFRB thanks Marcos for supporting PTMP despite calls for suspension
MANILA, Philippines — Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III has thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for rejecting calls from senators to suspend the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP), previously known as the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program.
“I extend my utmost gratitude to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for his unwavering support to the Public Transportation Modernization Program and to the LTFRB,” Guadiz said as quoted in a statement released on Wednesday.

Guadiz also commended Marcos’ commitment to the PTMP.
He said the President’s “leadership and vision for a modernized transportation infrastructure are vital in addressing the evolving needs of our commuters and ensuring a more reliable and eco-friendly public transportation network.”
