LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotic operatives seized more than P144,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from three alleged drug pushers in San Pedro City, Laguna on Friday night.

The Region 4A police said in a report Saturday, Aug. 3, that the law enforcers arrested “Virginia”, “Aljhun’, and “Melky” after selling P1,000 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer in Barangay (village) Langgam at around 9:20 p.m.

The operatives confiscated from the suspects five plastic sachets of shabu weighing 21.2 grams worth P144,160.

Police said all suspects are included on the local police drug watch list as “street-level” drug pushers.

The suspects were detained and are facing a complaint of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
