Chinese man nabbed for P250,000 ecstasy pills in Angeles City
ANGELES CITY — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Wednesday arrested a Chinese man after he allegedly sold ecstasy pills to an undercover agent in Malabanias village in this city.
In a statement, the PDEA Central Luzon said some P250,000 worth of ecstasy pills, also known as party drugs, were seized from Wang Jinfu, alias “Simon,” 44, a resident of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
The agency said the buy-bust operation was conducted along Don Juivo Avenue at 8:35 p.m.
PDEA Central Luzon said a resealable plastic bag containing 68 pieces of pink ecstasy pills and another resealable plastic bag with 32 pieces of blue ecstasy pills were allegedly confiscated from the Chinese national.
The Toyota FJ Cruiser sports utility vehicle and the mobile phone used by the suspect were taken by PDEA Pampanga operatives, who also recovered the marked money used in the sting operation conducted with the city police.

“A non-bailable offense under Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested suspect,” the agency said.
On July 21, PDEA and police operatives arrested Ling Chen, a 24-year-old Chinese national who allegedly yielded some P3,400,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Cuayan village.
The suspect, who was on board a BMW car, was arrested after allegedly selling shabu to an undercover agent.
Allegedly confiscated from him was a brown paper bag containing a resealable plastic bag filled with suspected shabu. INQ
