MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said fire struck two areas in Malabon City on Friday morning, both reaching the third alarm.
The first fire incident was at a commercial area located along Dumalay St., Brgy. Sta. Monica. It reached the first alarm at 5:22 a.m., the second alarm two minutes later, and the third alarm at 5:38 a.m.
It was declared under control by 6:27 a.m. with no injury or fatality reported.

The second fire incident happened at Gutierrez Street corner Macanas Street in Brgy. Panghulo. Authorities said the blaze reached the first alarm at 10:39 a.m. and then immediately raised to the second alarm at 10:41 a.m. A third alarm was hoisted at 10:48 a.m. before firemen managed to control the fire at 11:23 a.m. with no reported injury or fatality as of writing.
The BFP-National Capital Region said investigations are underway regarding the two fire incidents.
