A cloudy, rainy Friday due to the southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” is forecast in Luzon, while fair weather is expected in the Visayas and Mindanao, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Sa buong Luzon makakaranas pa din tayo ng maulap na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan, pagkulog at pagkidlat,”  Pagasa weather specialist Daniel Villamil said in an early morning update.

The viral “Gil Tulog” road signs that altered the original “Gil Puyat” markings were immediately taken down, Makati Mayor Abby Binay said Friday.

Binay explained that the permit request to change the road sign for an advertising campaign did not reach her office, adding that she would have denied it if it did.
