MANILA, Philippines — Classes were suspended in some parts of the country on Friday, July 26 due to the effects of Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon.

Here is the list of local government units that declared class suspensions at all levels:
- Pasig City (public and private schools)
- Bulacan (public and private schools and government offices)
- Bataan (public and private schools)
- Angeles City, Pampanga (face-to-face classes in private schools)
- San Fernando, Pampanga (public and private schools)
- Caloocan City (public and private schools)
- Malabon (public and private schools)
- Pangasinan (public and private schools)
- Biñan, Laguna (public and private schools)
- Paniqui, Tarlac (public and private schools)
- Tarlac City, Tarlac (public and private schools and government offices)
- Concepcion, Tarlac (public and private schools)
- Capas, Tarlac (public and private schools)
- Marikina (public and private schools)
- Camarines Sur (public and private schools)
While Carina exited the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday morning, the southwest monsoon enhanced by the typhoon will bring heavy to intense rainfall over Ilocos Region, Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Zambales, and Bataan on Thursday night, while moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast over areas in the western part of Luzon from Thursday night to Saturday.
