MANILA, Philippines—Maria Teresa “Tessie” Capapas Roa died on May 16 in Cagayan de Oro City. She was 58.
She is survived by her husband Benjamin ”Boboy” Roa Jr. and children Yonnah Marie, Benjamin III, Noelle Ria Marie, Benjamin Diosdado and Michael Benjamin.
Roa was an educator, teaching accounting in various colleges and serving as chair of accounting at Xavier University. She was active in community service and in the Christian Family Movement.

She also worked with the Private Development Corporation of the Philippines and Pryce Plans where she was vice president for the Visayas and Mindanao.
Interment is on Sunday at 9 a.m. at Oro Memorial Gardens after the Mass.
