MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) suspended the expanded number coding scheme on Wednesday.

(The implementation of the expanded unified vehicular volume reduction program has been suspended today, July 24, following Malacanang’s suspension of work and classes in all government offices and schools within Metro Manila due to the continuous rains caused by typhoon Carina and Southwest Monsoon.)

Earlier Wednesday, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) made the announcement on the suspension.
