MMDA: DPWH conducting asphalt overlay in QC areas until July 31

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is carrying out asphalt overlay activities in parts of Quezon City, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Tuesday.

According to its advisory, these activities are being conducted along Congressional Ave. Ext., Tandang Sora Avenue, to Visayas Avenue, and will last until 5:00 a.m. on July 31.

Motorists were advised to take alternate routes.

Meanwhile, portions of the Edsa-Santolan flyover northbound (lane by lane) will also be partially closed for two weekends due to asphalt overlaying.

The overlaying began on the evening of July 19 to the early morning of July 22. It will continue at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26 until 5:00 a.m. on July 29. — Felice Nafarrete, INQUIRER.net intern
