MANILA, Philippines — Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) announced on Tuesday that enrollment at its Sta. Mesa campus is suspended on Wednesday, July 24 “due to inclement weather caused by typhoon #Carina and the habagat.”
In an advisory, PUP said that those who did not make it to the campus on Tuesday and Wednesday will be rescheduled to Thursday, July 25.

“Please note that enrollment schedules for the coming days will be moved forward by one day and now extended from August 3 to August 5, 2024,” it added.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration in its 5 p.m. bulletin on Tuesday said that Typhoon Carina strengthened the southwest monsoon or habagat, which will bring “moderate to intense rainfall over various localities in the western portion of Luzon today through Thursday.”
