Over P1.3 million worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Cotabato City
MANILA, Philippines — A 26-year-old man was arrested in Cotabato City on Wednesday after yielding over P1.3 million worth of crystal meth, locally known as “shabu,” according to the Philippine Drug Enformece Agency (PDEA).
In a report on Thursday, PDEA identified the suspect as Najer Cosain Arumpac, alias Supremo, who was apprehended during a buy-bust operation along Jose Lim Street in Barangay Poblacion 5.

PDEA tagged Arumpac as a “high-value target” known for his illegal drug transactions also in nearby towns of Lanao Del Sur.
Confiscated from him were two plastic bags containing 200 grams or P1,360,000 worth of shabu, buy-bust money, a phone, a wallet, and an identification card.
Arumpac is now detained at PDEA’s jail facility in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and will face complaints for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
