Muntinlupa City launches emergency response app

MANILA, Philippines — The Muntinlupa City government on Thursday launched a mobile application for emergency response.

Developed by the city’s Department of Disaster Resilience and Management, the iRespond mobile app features one-touch emergency reporting, real-time incident tracking, and alerts and notifications for residents.

Muntinlupa Mayor Rozano Ruffino “Ruffy” Biazon urged citizens to download and to use the application properly.

“The iRespond app is a great help for Muntinlupa citizens because the city can record possible disasters or emergency scenarios much faster,” he said.
