MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 2,936 out of 6,191 examinees passed the July 2024 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination.
According to the PRC, Jobrylle Simbahon of the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Visayas was the batch’s topnotcher with a rating of 89 percent, followed by Edric Fontelera of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa with 88 percent, and Gilbert Comprado of Saint Mary’s College-Tagum and EJ Dinglasan of Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Calamba with 86.70 percent.
The University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños was named as the top-performing school in the July 2024 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination with a 93.33 percent passing rate, followed by UP Diliman with a 90.91 percent passing rate, and TUP Visayas with 88.89 percent passing rate.
The Master Plumbers Licensure Examination was held from July 15-16.

The PRC said the date and venue of the oath-taking ceremony for successful examinees will be announced at a later date.

Also on Thursday, the PRC announced that 69 out of 130 passed the Master Plumbers Special Professional Licensure Examination held in various testing sites in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Singapore from June 16-17.

Bryan Gonzales of the Bulacan State University-Malolos was the topnotcher with an 84.50 percent rating, according to the PRC. He was followed by Archie Tambayocyoc of the Eastern Visayas State University Caloocan with 81.70 percent.
The third-highest scorers were Jonathan Santos of the Central Luzon State University and Vicente Valencia from the Mapua University-Manila, who both scored 81.60 percent.
