LUCENA CITY — A man on a police drug watch list was caught Wednesday with an illegal firearm and shabu (crystal meth) in Mauban town in Quezon province.
The Quezon police reported on Thursday, July 18, that Anti-illegal drugs operatives, with a search warrant, swooped down at 7:10 p.m. on the house of alias “Buffalo,” 37, in Barangay Bagong Bayan.
The authorities found a caliber .38 Smith and Wesson revolver with two bullets and a plastic sachet of shabu worth P4.080 in the street market.
The police tagged Buffalo as a street-level drug pusher on their watch list.
The suspect was placed under police custody and would face charges of violating anti-drug laws and another case for illegal possession of a firearm.
