2 drug traffickers yield shabu worth P3.4M in Las Piñas bust
LUCENA CITY — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents and local police seized on Tuesday, July 16, an estimated P3.4 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) and arrested two big-time traffickers in Las Piñas City.
In a report on Wednesday, July 17, the PDEA-Region 4A said their operatives and fellow agents from Batangas, National Capital Region (NCR) and local drug enforcers conducted a joint buy-bust operation around 3:20 p.m. in a fast-food restaurant in Barangay CAA.
During the operation, the suspects, identified as Cristalyn Lucas 29, and Jessica Cusi, 40, were caught in possession of 500 grams of shabu worth P3,400,000.

Both suspects, residents of the said village, were classified as “high-value” targets in the government campaign against illegal drugs.

The arrested suspects were detained and are facing complaints of violating anti-drug laws.
