Gabriela party-list Rep. Brosas says she will run for senator in 2025

Consumers will suffer under the move of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to authorize downsizing, or reduction in product quantities to adjust for inflation, the Gabriela party-list said on Thursday.

MANILA, Philippines — Gabriela party-list Rep. Arlene Brosas on Tuesday announced that she will run for senator in the 2025 polls.

According to Brosas, she wants to bring her advocacies to the Senate.

“In the Senate, I will not only defend these laws but push for more comprehensive legislation to safeguard women’s rights,” Brosas was quoted as saying in a release.

Last July 4, the Makabayan bloc, which Gabriela is a part of, said they would field a full senatorial slate in the 2025 elections.

ACT Teachers party-list Rep. France Castro also announced that would run for senator last June 26.
