Pagasa: Fair Tuesday weather with possible rain showers nationwide

     

MANILA, Philippines – Warm weather and possible rain showers are expected in most parts of the country on Tuesday, while cloudy skies and rain are forecast in Palawan and the Visayas, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (Pagasa).

“Due to the easterlies, cloudy skies with scattered rains are expected in areas of Visayas and Palawan,” said Pagasa weather specialist Rhea Torres in an early morning bulletin. 

“As for the rest of the country, while we are seeing cloud [bands], it is not expected to last until the afternoon,” Torres said.

“We are expecting warm weather except chances of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and night,” she said.

No weather disturbance is expected in and around the Philippine area of responsibility in the coming days.

No gale warning is in effect over the country’s seaboard.
