The PNP said that the bonus that the personnel will receive is equal to 52 percent of their monthly salary as of December 31, 2022.

However, some officers were unable to receive bonuses due to different factors, such as criminal and administrative cases and low ratings, among others, it added.

PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil told police officers to use the bonus as an encouragement to be excellent in their field.

“This bonus honors your hard work and dedication. Let it inspire us to maintain excellence and make a profound impact on our nation’s safety and security,” Marbil was quoted as saying in a statement.
