Manila Water issues advisory for clients in Makati, Mandaluyong, Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — East Zone concessionaire Manila Water said that parts of the cities of Mandaluyong, Makati, and Taguig may experience water supply interruptions from July 5 to 10 to make way for maintenance activities. 

The following areas will be affected by the maintenance works:

July 5, 10:00 p.m.–July 6, 4:00 a.m.

• P. Cruz Corner Boni and Mabini Corner Shaw; Barangay Hagdang Bato Libis, Mandaluyong City
• Areas that may be affected: Parts of Mandaluyong (Acacia Lane, F. Ortigas, B. Francisco New Zaniga, San Jose IV, Poblacion)

July 8, 9:00 p.m.–July 9, 4:00 a.m.

• Palawan cor. Kalayaan, Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City (Palawan, Panay & D.V. Laurill)

July 9, 10:00 p.m.–July 10, 4:00 a.m.

• Liwayway cor. Pulong Kendi, Brgy Sta Ana, Taguig City (Pulong Kendi, Tahimik, Masaya, Samasipat, Faculty, Romatic, Sandok, Sta.Ana)

July 9, 10:00 p.m.–July 10, 4:00 a.m.

• Estrella Cor. C. Roces, Brgy. San Antonio, Makati City

Manila Water likewise advised its consumers to prepare by setting aside enough water for the duration of the service works,  

“After the activity and once water service is restored, please conduct flushing by letting the water flow out of your taps for a few minutes until it becomes clear,” it said.
