MANILA, Philippines — The University of Caloocan City (UCC) will start accepting students into its new College of Engineering in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.
It will offer electrical, electronics, industrial and computer engineering programs for the new school year.
Caloocan City Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan reminded the youth to seize the academic opportunity, including the free tuition offered by the College of Engineering.

“Mga Batang Kankaloo, tandaan nyo na marami kayong posibleng landas na pwedeng tahakin at posibleng trabaho na maaaring kunin,” Malapitan said.
(Kankaloo kids, remember you have many possible paths and jobs to pursue.)
“Laging nandito ang pamahalaang lungsod upang siguraduhin na hindi kayo mauubusan ng suporta sa kahit ano pang gusto ninyong marating sa buhay,” he added.

The mayor also said more plans are in store for the city’s university and public schools, such as establishing the UCC College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Admission to the new engineering programs is extended from July 8 to July 12.
