MANILA, Philippines—The fire that gutted a shantytown in Pasay City before noon Friday has been declared out, a city fire official said.
Fire Officer 2 Rodolfo Bulatao said the fire that started at 11 a.m. along Pioneer Street, Don Carlos, Pasay City reached fourth alarm before it was declared “fire out” at 12:43 p.m.
No reports of injuries and casualties have reached their office, he said
