MANILA, Philippines — Two people found a fetus contained in a jar while collecting garbage from an estuary in Manila on Wednesday morning, police said.

The Manila Police District (MPD) said in a report that garbage collectors Renato Signe, 45, and Armando Tejero, 56, discovered the fetus at 8:45 a.m. in a canal located in Barangay 51 Z-4, Dagupan, Tondo.
