CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos turned over the first batch of Bagong Pilipinas mobile clinics to all seven provincial governors in Central Luzon on Tuesday.

In a brief program at the Pampanga capitol here, Araneta-Marco said 82 brand new Toyota coasters-turned-mobile clinics would have been given out to 82 provinces by July. This comes ahead of the State of the Nation Address (Sona) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. next month.

“Through this, my husband wants to bring health services closer to the people,” she explained before the governors signed the deeds of donation.

The recipients of the mobile clinics were Aurora Gov. Reynante Tolentino, Bataan Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia, Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando, Nueva Ecija Gov. Aurelio Umali, Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda, Tarlac Gov. Susan Yap, and Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr.

DOH Assistant Secretary Paolo Teston said the mobile clinics were “inspired” by the first lady’s “Lab For All,” a health and social program in communities.

Teston said the mobile clinics will “enhance accessibility, improve health outcomes, strengthen local health programs.”
