Construction of 4 roads, repair of airport ongoing in Caraga, says Marcos
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday gave updates on the status of various infrastructure projects in the Caraga Region.
Marcos traveled to the region distributing various government assistance to fisherfolk, farmers and indigent families.

“Nasimulan na ang pagpapatayo ng Butuan City–Agusan del Norte Logistical Highway na inaasahang magiging tulay ng ating agricultural economic zones at posibleng industrial economic zones,” said Marcos in his speech in Butuan.
(We have started constructing the Butuan City–Agusan del Norte Logistical Highway that will be the bridge of our agricultural economic zones and possible industrial zones.)
Article continues after this advertisementMarcos also said the bypass road connecting Mayor Democrito Plaza II Avenue and Daang Maharlika is 71 percent finished.
Article continues after this advertisementWhile in Surigao del Sur for a separate aid distribution event, Marcos said that key infrastructure projects in the province were halfway done.
Such projects include the Cabadbaran-Putting Bato-Lanuza Road, the East-West Lateral Road, and the rehabilitation of the Tandag Airport.
