MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” will continue to bring rain to most parts of the country on Thursday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
(Central Visayas, Western Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms.)
The same weather will prevail over parts of Luzon, specifically Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and Romblon.
Partly cloudy skies are forecast over the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, especially in the morning, with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms more likely in the afternoon and evening.
(Meanwhile, Eastern Visayas will experience fair weather, but there is still a chance of isolated rain showers.)
Meanwhile, no cyclones or low-pressure areas are expected to form in and around the Philippine area of responsibility until Saturday.
