More evidence coming to prove Alice Guo’s real identity, says Gatchalian
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian on Wednesday said more evidence that will prove Alice Guo’s real identity is still to come.
According to Gatchalian during a Kapihan sa Senate briefing, this evidence is already being validated.
“There is more. I can’t say right now because we’re still in the process of validation but we still have evidence that can directly confirm that she is not Filipino because her mother is Wen Yi Lin,” said Gatchalian.

Gatchalian then reiterated that he is convinced Guo is in fact Guo Hua Ping, citing their face similarities and the fact that Lin Wen Yi’s registered address in the SIRV is the exact same address used by the Guo family in its incorporation papers.
Current evidence may be used by OSG
Meanwhile, Gatchalian urged the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) to obtain their own original BOI and BI documents.
“They can use that. My call to the Office of the Solicitor General is to get the official documents. Because it was sent to the Senate. They should get official documents from the Board of Investments, from the Bureau of Immigration, so that the document they are holding is official,” said Gatchalian.
The OSG is currently investigating the allegations against Guo to determine if there is good reason to institute a quo warranto against her.
