MANILA, Philippines — Hot, humid weather will prevail in most parts of the country while cloudy skies and scattered rain showers are expected in the western part of southern Luzon and the Visayas on Monday, according to the state weather bureau.
(Due to the southwest monsoon, there will be a high chance of rain and cloudy skies in Palawan and the Western Visayas, including Panay Island and Guimaras.)
Meanwhile, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms from afternoon to evening are expected in the rest of the country, particularly the western part of Luzon (Calabarzon, Bataan, Zambales, Metro Manila).
He also reported that Pagasa has not monitored any weather disturbance or low-pressure area inside and around the Philippine area of responsibility.
No gale warning is in effect over any of the country’s seaboards.
