SUBIC BAY, Zambales — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Friday that some roads in Metro Manila will undergo reblocking and repair activities this weekend.
According to the MMDA, the Department of Public Works and Highways will do the roadworks from 11 p.m. on June 14 to 5 a.m. on June 17, Monday, in the following areas:
Parañaque City
- Taft Avenue, Quirino Avenue to MRT Baclaran (outer lane)
Caloocan City
- A. Bonifacio Avenue, 5th Avenue to Cloverleaf Interchange Edsa, 2nd lane from the sidewalk
Pasay City
- Edsa (southbound), near L. Woods St., outer lane
- Edsa (southbound), MRT Ortigas Station (outer lane), corner Boni Avenue (2nd lane)

Quezon City
- Tandang Sora, Tierra Pura Homes to New Era School
- Congressional Avenue, Ext., between Tandang Sora Ave. and Visayas Avenue
- Regalado Avenue, going to North Caloocan
- Tandang Sora Avenue
- Quirino Highway
- Congressional Avenue Exit
- North Avenue, before Senador Miriam P. Defensor- Santiago Avenue, 3rd lane from sidewalk
Congressional Avenue Exit, fronting Zevron, truck lane - Mindanao Avenue, Road 8 to Petron, 2nd lane from sidewalk
- Mindanao Avenue, in front of Pizza Hut, 4th lane from Center Island
- Congressional Avenue Exit, after Violago Homes, truck lane
- Sgt. Rivera, corner Skyway bypass road to A. Bonifacio Avenue 1st lane from sidewalk
- Quirino Highway, Sagitarius Street to corner Mindanao Avenue, 2nd lane from sidewalk
- Quirino Highway, Baesa Cemetery to Masagana and Mendez Road to Baesa Road, 1st lane from sidewalk
- Commonwealth Avenue, Luzon Avenue to Central Avenue, 1st lane from sidewalk
- Fairview Avenue, Regalado to Metro Fuel, 3rd lane from island
The MMDA said motorists should take alternative routes while the reblocking and repair activities are ongoing as affected roads will only be “fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, June 17.”
