MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Magallanes Drive will be closed from June 12 to June 13, the local government of the city of Manila announced on Wednesday.
This was due to the inauguration ceremony of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Floating Solid Waste Collector System Project.

“The DENR EMB-NCR (Environmental Management Bureau-National Capital Region) in coordination with the City Government of Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau would like to inform the public that West Bound of Magallanes Drive will be closed to traffic from June 12 to June 13, 2024, due to the Inauguration Ceremony of the DENR Floating Solid Waste Collector System Project,” the Facebook post of the Manila Public Information Office said.
The road closure will be from June 12, 11:00 pm to June 13, 5:00 pm, the post added.
Meanwhile, motorists were advised to take alternate routes.

“Motorists are advised to take alternative routes during this period. Traffic rerouting and detour signs will be in place to guide the public,” it added.
