MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) emphasized on Wednesday that there are no fees associated with obtaining an identification card and Member Data Record (MDR), reminding the public to report those serving as fixers.
“Tandaan na WALANG BAYAD ang PhilHealth ID at Member Data Record (MDR),” it said in a Facebook post.
(Remember that the PhilHealth ID and Member Data Record are free of charge.)

“Huwag makipag-ugnayan sa sinumang nag-aalok ng tulong o assistance para makakuha ng PhilHealth ID o Member Data Record kapalit ng bayad,” it added.
(Do not engage with anyone offering help or assistance to obtain a PhilHealth ID or Member Data Record in exchange for a fee.)

PhilHealth also advised the public to go to the nearest PhilHealth office at their residence to get an ID and MDR.
“I-report ang anumang gawaing may daya sa (02) 8662-2588 o mag-email sa actioncenter@philhealth.gov.ph,” it added.
