LEGAZPI CITY — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake was recorded Wednesday, June 12, in Donsol town in Sorsogon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In a bulletin, Phivolcs said the epicenter of the tectonic quake detected by Instruments at 9:19 a.m. was located 10 kilometers southeast of Donsol at a depth of 15 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt at Intensity III in Castilla town in Sorsogon, Intensity II in Donsol and Legazpi City in Albay province; and Intensity I in Tabaco City, also in Albay.
The agency said there was no expected damage or aftershocks.
