More road repairs set this weekend–DPWH

MANILA, Philippines – More road repairs are scheduled along major roads in Metro Manila this coming weekend, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced Thursday.

DPWH advised motorists in a statement that, from Friday 10 p.m. up to Monday 4 a.m., there will be an expected traffic slowdown in the following areas due to the road repair works:

1.EDSA (northbound and southbound) Mandaluyong City under supervision

of First Metro Manila Engineering District (FMMED).

2.EDSA (northbound) going to Cubao area, 1st and 2nd lane of service road between Liberty and Main under supervision of Quezon City Second Engineering District (QCSED).

3.Bonny Serrano Avenue, Quezon City left lane corner EDSA and from EDSA, in front of Veteran’s Bank under supervision of QCSED.

4.Regalado North 2nd lane from Bronx St. to Bristol St. under

supervision of QCFED.

5.Fairview Avenue (southbound) 3rd lane from Atherton to Regalado North under supervision of QCFED.

6.EDSA, Quezon City (northbound), 3rd lane from Corregidor Road to

West Avenue under supervision of QCFED.

7.EDSA, Quezon City (southbound), 2nd lane from cloverleaf to Kaingin Road under supervision of QCFED.

8.Bonifacio Avenue – outer lane (northbound) under supervision of QCFED.

9.Araneta Avenue 2nd lane (northbound) under supervision of QCFED.

10.A.H. Lacson St., Sampaloc, Manila from España to Piy Margal under supervision of North Manila Engineering District (NMED).

11.R. Magsaysay Blvd., Sampaloc, Manila from Sociego to Rotonda under supervision of NMED.

DPWH said that they have coordinated with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority regarding these road maintenance projects.
