MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has been elected as deputy member to the governing body of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma announced on Friday.

The election took place during the ongoing 112th International Labor Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
