Gov’t launches OFW driver’s license renewal process

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Department of Migrant Workers on Friday launched a program that will facilitate the renewal of driver’s license for overseas Filipino workers (OFW).

Vigor Mendoza II, chief of the LTO, said the program will be known as “Pinabilis sa Bagong Bayani ang Magkalisensya” and was the result of talks between Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista and Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac.
