MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said the government targets to distribute more than 60,000 certificates of land ownership award (CLOAs) to farmers nationwide by the end of this year.
From January to May, almost 30,000 CLOAs, including electronic titles, were already distributed to farmer-beneficiaries, Marcos noted.
More than 36,000 CLOAs for at least 30,000 farmers are expected to be delivered nationwide toward the end of 2024, he added.

“The CLOA and e-titles will serve as a bridge to more opportunities,” Marcos said in Filipino during the distribution of CLOA and other assistance in Pili, Camarines Sur, on Friday.
A total of 2,115 CLOAs were distributed to 1,965 agrarian reform beneficiaries in Bicol, covering 3,328.0973 hectares of land in Sorsogon, Catanduanes, Masbate, Albay, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.
Marcos has ordered the fast-tracking of processes for land distribution as he vowed to complete the country’s agrarian reform program before his term ends in 2028.
