3-on-3 Basketball Madness set

ACTION in the grassroots level of basketball continues to heat up as the 3-on-3 Basketball Madness @ Insular Square kicks off on May 19-20 and May 26-27 at the brand new Insular Square in Tabok, Mandaue City.

The event was recently launched and games will be played at the Insular Square, revealed Insular Square Marketing Services Officer Leasing Manager Aimee Ting.

“We have set up three courts inside the mall specially fit for 3-on-3 games for the young ones,” Ting said.

Tournament divisions will be as follows: Under 14 (born 1998), Under 13 (born 1999), Under 12 (born 2000), Under 11 (born 2001), Under 10 (born 2002), Under 9 (born 2003) and Under 8 (born 2004) age groups. Team registration fee is P300 worth of goods purchased at any tenant of Insular Square plus P100 pesos cash.

The FIBA 33 rules will be applied. Schedule of games for each age group will be good for one weekend with the age group’s elimination round to be played on a Saturday and the playoffs on a Sunday.

Insular Square tenants include Save More, CSV Laundry, Dong Juan, Aerophone, Mooon Cafe, Rose Pharmacy, Bo’s Coffee Club, Savoura, Mandarin Tea Garden, Dunkin Donuts, Lantaw Native Restaurant,Gioielleria, Blue Bliss Beauty Shop, Mc Donald’s Desserts, Thirty Fruit Juices, Twist Potato, Don Ricardo’s Roasted Chicken, Virginia Hotdog, Michikawa Enterprise, Siknoy.  Soon to Open Salon De Rose, Franzy Salon, Yellow Cab, Jonie’s Chicken and Echo Savers Appliance, Shop Box, Interpace Computer, Cebuana Lhuillier.
