MANILA, Philippines — Police confiscated over P795.7 million worth of narcotics seized from 74 individuals for the month of May, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Drug Enforcement Group (DEG).
In a report released on Monday, PDEG said the illegal drugs were confiscated from May 1 to 31 during 81 intelligence-driven operations.

Among the operations police conducted were serving three search warrants, 31 buy-busts, 23 marijuana eradication, and 24 manhunts.
PDEG said these operations resulted in the arrest of 74 individuals, including 24 suspects tagged as wanted persons.
Included in the P795,734,200 worth of narcotics were 5,644 grams of crystal meth (shabu), 3,132,300 pieces of marijuana plants, 1,090,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves, and 3,000 grams of marijuana seeds, it added.
