MANILA, Philippines—Chinese woman Lin Wen Yi, who is presumed to be Bamban Mayor Alice Guo’s mother, left the country in May and has yet to return, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian disclosed on Monday.
In a text message to INQUIRER.net, Gatchalian said his sources from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed the matter. Along with Lin is the local chief executive’s father, Jian Zhong Guo.
“Yes. They left last May 20 and [have] not returned yet, according to the BI,” said Gatchalian when asked if the two had, indeed, left the country.
