(The southwest monsoon will not affect the country, so we will still experience hot weather here in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, possibly with isolated thunderstorms or sudden and short rain showers.)

(Meanwhile, Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain showers due to easterlies.)

She also said no gale warning was raised over the country’s seaboards.

Moreover, Castañeda reported that the weather disturbance monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility has already developed into a low-pressure area (LPA).

She, however, assured the public that the LPA has no direct effect on the country as of this time.
