Water supply pause set in 5 Metro Manila cities from May 30 to June 3
MANILA, Philippines — At least five to 16 hours of water supply interruption is scheduled in Parañaque, Muntinlupa, Malabon, Navotas, and Quezon City from May 30 to June 3, the Maynilad Water Services Inc. said.
In an advisory, the West Zone water concessionaire said maintenance activities will be conducted during the period as part of the company’s commitment to keep the total distribution system under its jurisdiction in good condition.
“Karaniwan ay maliliit na area lamang ang apektado ng ganitong mga aktibidad. Gayundin, karamihan sa maintenance activities na ito ay ginagawa sa off-peak hours upang maibsan ang epekto sa aming mga customer,” it said.
(Usually, only small areas are affected by such activities. Also, most of these maintenance activities are done during off-peak hours to minimize the impact on our customers.)
